Bought this strat received it on 9/6 can't seem to put it down. Not sure i was going like not having a tone control for the neck and middle pu, not sure about the mid boost but man this guitar is flat out amazing i am blown away with it's playability, tone, range, feel of the neck with the compound radius but it is flat out a player. I did not think it could out shine my strat pro which was my favorite until i received this one. I also have a strat elite and a 88/89 strat plus with lace sensor pickups which has been my main axe for the past 20 yrs... I have been playing strats since 83. Worked in music store where i could try any guitar that came through from yamaha, ibanez, gibson and just about every make there is. But this strat is different and special in a way i have a hard time describing. It is one of those guitars you dream about but never think your going to get to play let alone own it. I had even tried to cancel buying it but was told already on the truck and to refuse delivery but i couldn't do that without touching it know what i mean. And touch it i did for hours every day and night. My other guitars are great i love em (les paul 59 std, les paul tribute, prs, fender tele pro one of my favorites and of course the other 3 strats i already described above). This is not only one awesome guitar but it is special almost spiritual.

I had never heard of Lincoln Brewster but when I sought out Aztec Gold Strats with maple fretboard and nitro finish it popped up. The Ash body is what I would've chosen as are the compound radius neck, two point trem and locking tuners. This guitar is so much more than a standard Strat. The diversity of tones that are available at your fingertips is amazing! I've been playing this guitar for over a month now and I still can't believe how lucky I am to own it. Added bonus is that LB is actually one helluva guitarist which I discovered after ordering his signature model. Lol! Fit and finish on the guitar are too notch...it actually has the feel of a Custom Shop Strat. My only disappointment is that the G&G Fender case isn't up to the standards of older G&G cases I've had in the past. But, it works well and I don't play the case! Highly recommend this guitar!

Musical Background:

I've been playing guitar for 24 years recreationally.

Musical Style:

I play whatever moves me at the moment so this Strat can cover a lot of territory and genres.

If you have ever thought about getting a strat, this is a no brainer. I got this strat yesterday right out of the box plays perfectly. The setup is well done and the amount of value you get is off the chart. It comes with a locking case, and also comes with strap locks already on the guitar. The pickups are fantastic great vintage clarity for the clean tones, and the dirty tones are great with a bit of bite. Overall a really well crafted excellent guitar to own and play.

Prior to this purchase, I had no idea who Lincoln Brewster was. But I began studying his work. That all being said - I bought this particular Strat solely based on features. I wasn't after your typical quacky Stratocaster. It has the neck I love - it's the *slightly* thinner of the two Soft V forms (CLAPTON version), but still noticeably thicker than the dreadful Modern "C" Fender seems to push off on most Strats. Noiseless DiMarzios, boost circuit, 22 fret, nitro lacquer, and nice tight Schaller-like strap locks! Was initial concerned the talk was that Ash bodies were lightweight, but research through a vendor I won't mention listed average weights between about 8lb 4oz & 8lb 11 oz - those my friend, are weighty Strats, which I prefer! Mine came in at approx 8lb 10oz, which is my sweet spot. Hard case is a pretty generic, decent music school-quality case - all black, in and out. A nice, unique, limited offering from Fender
