Bought this with the help of "Pay as you play". Great financing for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money upfront. The guitar is just sensational. Sweet tone with alternating pickups. I cannot not say one bad thing about this model so far. This is BEST strat I've ever owned! Do yourself a favor and own one if your hesitant about getting one. Well worth it!!

It is a challenge for us lefties to test guitars at local stores. I've gone through over nine guitars trying find the most versatile that would work best for me. From Schecter to Les Paul, including a Mexican Strat. The sound and quality of the fender is the just the best one out there. Just get one!
Sound
Sound quality is outstanding! If I want the Les Paul sound I switch to the second and fourth. For the John Mayer sound I use the third. It stays in tune well, great case too!

American Fender Strat stands for quality. It was perfect right out the case. I may change the strings to Ernie Ball in the future but it sounds great right out the box. I also own a Les Paul that i paid over $2000 and it needed to be set up and it does not stay in tune as good as the Strat.

I owned a Mexican Strat which is an outstanding guitar, but when I tried the American there was no going back.
