I've recently purchased the Fender AV '58 Telecaster.It's all that I expected plus a little more.I've also tried out the '59 Strat and '65 Jazzmaster.Fender has nailed the vintage pre-CBS vibe on these guitars without going the more expensive Custom Shop route.The look,sound and feel is incredible.I've been listening to some older stuff like Albert Collins and Jimmy Bryant('50s Tele players),and pretty much all of the tones are exact to the new model.(Playing like those guys is another story.)It's great clean,with chorus,or distortion(not much is needed).Highly recommend to use these through a tube amp for the full experience.No rating on manufacturer support since it's unknown.These are slightly higher priced,but they do capture that vintage essence.

I had been wanting this masterpiece for a while and finally bought it. Arrived today, right when Zzounds said it would. It complements my stable of an American Standard Strat and a Gibson LP Studio. I run it through either my '65 Twin Reverb reissue or a 65Amps Ventura. Let me just cut to the chase and say this axe is everything I hoped for and more. Everything is perfect. The feel, the action, the tone, it is pure vintage ecstasy. I don't know which amp I like it better with. The Twin is just so perfect with it, that classic sound is so amazing, this thing snaps and sparkles and chimes. Run it through the Ventura (a hand built boutique amp, 20 watts Class A) and I get the perfect bite and grind. I am going to play this thing all weekend long. EXTREMELY SATISFIED!!!
