My first USA Made Fender Stratocaster. I'd have to say that I'm very disappointed with the quality control coming out of the Corona Plant. To start, the neck was mounted crooked to where the high E string would fall off the fretboard playing anywhere past the ninth fret. The action was way too high due to the tremolo being tilted forward because the spring tension was off. The tremolo arm mounting hole in the tremolo block was incorrectly drilled at an angle, which barely lined up with the tremolo base plate. This caused the arm to be too low to the guitar body. I will be replacing this block with a FU-Tone Brass Block. After proper adjustment, it played beautifully. The sound was exactly as I had imagined. The finish of the neck and body were near perfect. Do I love this guitar? Yes! With that said though, for the price, I believe Fender Mexico is putting out a better quality product overall.
