At first I was not impressed. I have had some great head...uh...i mean heads. From Ampeg to SWR. It wasn't until I started playing with pre and post levels that I found it's strong suit. The EQ (particularly the semi-parametric mid) is powerful. And POWER is where it's at. It rattles everything in sight by 9:00. By noon it is what I would normally consider painful but the sound is so sweet the pain just isn't there. This thing with the right cab(s) will dominate everything around it. I am running an SWR Son of Bertha or two depending on the venue. I love 15s. Then again I am a big PJB fan and am blown away by the tone and output of this with 2 C4 cabs. Total f'ing velvet hammer. If you haven't, buy one. It you have buy another. This is a made in USA very high end amp. Mr Fuchs will undoubtedly raise the price as well they should. Best $1200 I've ever spent.
