I bought this cabinet when I purchased the 5150iii EL64 amp head. I tried my new head through my Marshall 4x12 1960 Lead and this 2x12 several times as it took my three shows to get dialed in, but now I am keeping the two EVH pieces of equipment together. The sound with this coupling is spot on for what I am after and wheels on the cabinet keep things easy and compact to move around.

paired with a dsl 40c (vintage 30) .. sounds killer.. I had tried a 1960 4 x 12 with it before but the G12T75s just werent matching up as well as Id hoped..zZounds has a sale on the marshall 1936 2x12 right now.. killer deal.. its loaded with the g12t75s though.. I passed for obvious reasons and got the evh with the Signature Celestion G12H 30W Anniversary Series... evh cab is 100 bucks cheaper as well..thinking about getting the 1936 cab for my jcm.. then id have 3/4 stack instead of a half stack..lmao.. anyway , figured if this cab didnt impress me , Id send it back.. zZounds rocks !! love this cab paired with the dsl 40
