the title says it all!
Sound
the sound has an organic quality that you don't find outside of old modded plexi's at full blast, but with way more gain on tap. the green channel is a good tube clean, but there is a volume jump from green to blue. the blue channel is where this thing opens up! very percussive and articulate, with great sustain! the red channel is pure searing liquidy blist, great for a lead or super saturated rhythm channel!
Features
I agree with the previous reveiwer, the midi does save the day with the volume jump, I use a digitech gsp1101 and it take care of it. on the same note using the gsp, the effects loop is very transparent. the included footswitch is also cool.
Ease of Use
this thing was effortless to setup, and it sounded good at every setting. even the midi setup was easy, took 2 minutes to set all my patches!
Quality
seems to be built like a tank, but time will tell how it will hold up to the old 5150's road standards!
Value
best amp on the market for the value!
Manufacturer Support
haven't had to deal with them yet.
The Wow Factor
great sound, midi, and loud as hell......WOW!

I use this amp with my POD HD500, life is so much easier now
Sound
this thing sounds awesome. i have respect for eddie van halen, but my style is nothing like his. i play a lot of funk and classic rock, but i touch on old and new metal styles, jazz, soul, motown, etc. this amp will do almost anything convincingly. needless to say clean sounds are very important for all of this and this head is better than my fender deville for this and obviously the blue and red channels are awesome.
Features
the midi on this saves it from its biggest flaw, the jump in volume from the green to blue channels. with my HD500 i can fix this, but if you do not have anything similar youre going to probably be irritated by it.
Ease of Use
pretty simple, no problems setting it up for anything so far
Quality
as far as reliability im not too sure because i just got it, but it seems pretty solid.
Value
great value especially with the 8 payment plan i got from AMS.
Manufacturer Support
5 year warranty, and somewhere i saw a forum before i bought this that a guy that worked for fender was answering all kinds of questions and seemed to be pretty helpful, from what ive seen theyre standing behind it 100 percent.
The Wow Factor
3 channels, midi switching, easier to carry than most heads, extreme versatility, the ability to mount it to the cab and tilt it. for me it has plenty of wow factor

Musical Background:

12 years

Musical Style:

anything i can get a band to jam on

Just purchased this head and received Feb 11 2012 and all I can say this thing rocks. There is a volume difference between clean and crunch but I still tnink for the price and quality of sound its worth it.I think the build quality is great. Just as a comparison I also use Bogner XTC, CAA PT100, anda few other boutiqes and this head keeps up with them.

Musical Background:

I have been playing electric guitar for 30 years as I am 47.

Musical Style:

I play christian rock , 80's rock, Etc......
