I needed something to help me practice my foot technique. This thing gets the job done at an affordable price. It’s easy to set up. If you use a tighter bass head or are a metal drummer with a lot of dampening in your bass drum, this will feel about the same. If you don’t, it’s gonna be more similar to a eKit feel. Much more firm than a tradition acoustic bass drum. Nonetheless, it’s helped a lot with allowing me to polish my foot techniques, and dial in my bass pedals a bit more without all the noise. If you can pair this with a practice pad and you can put in a lot more work into your craft then you’d think.
