This thing is a beast for 500 bucks... I'm super impressed with the sound and smooth playability. Screams on those solos and has that chunky crunch when you wanna play something a little heavier. I plugged it into my Crate 2x12 and was blown away, and I'm sure my neighbor was too...

I've had mine for a few days now. It's underwhelming in some areas, and it has me worried in others. The bad: Out of the box, the action is extremely high. The fret buzz sounds like a death rattle. I wanted to give e it a bit of time to adjust to the climate and altitude, and stretch the strings, but no luck. The tuning machines and nut look and feel cheap, and I have to retune often. The good: The tone is very dark and heavy (just what I wanted). Coil split is a nice feature, as is the through holes for the strings. Cleaner tones sound loud and crisp. The meh: While the pickups help with that heavy tone, they also sound very muddy. My favorite distortion pedals and effects boom on other guitars, but sound underwater on this until I dial it back. Not sure if I'm going keep it. Price wise, it seemed like a great value. But it's going to cost so much to upgrade it to the way I want, I probably should've have just bought something better.
