This is probably the happiest I’ve ever been with a guitar. The EverTune, the Fishmans, the ebony fretboard and perfectly smooth maple neck, it’s pretty much perfect. This guitar has created a desire to put EverTunes and Fishmans in every guitar I own.

I have an another 7 string guitar from 1999-2000, that now is going to be stored somewhere because after the purchase of this ESP, I won’t need itThe neck feels great, really smooth. Plays so well.The guitar was in tune out of the box, even if it stayed in stock for almost a year, the strings could tell the story, the coating turned my finger black while playing the first day and needed to change, I prefer 9-54 in drop A instead of the original 10-59 in standard B. But the guitar was perfectly on tune with an excellent setup.Evertune is great, you are in tune, no matter how aggressive you play, watch the videos from Ola or Esp and that’s all you need... that’s the best so far.The locking tuners are great. Slide the new strings, lock, cut, tune, won’t move at all! The pickups are the best ever, I wasn’t sure if going with PAF7, or EMG... I got Seymour Duncan sh2 and a custom SH4 with ceramic bar in the other basswood RG, took me about 15 years to get a good sound out of it for complex chords that don’t sound muddy or not powerful enough, and you hear details, the SH4 is truly bright.The Fluences are so much better in every ways, passive mode is a lot more better than my modified SH4, you can clearly hear all strings, it’s powerful too In active mode, you have the same dynamic with lot more power, it has all lit more body and girth than EMG, but as similarities, I ran it by on high gain channel with a Fulldrive (a glorified TS9) I had to turn down the volume and reduce the presence! That’s just excellent, the best of both worlds, there’s nothing that equals that at all. I have guitars I couldn’t to clean up the mud in drop B or C... but this is so much better, even in A!I wish there will be more guitar like that. If you need something that works every time you get it out of its box, without even tuning it, that you only need to plug! That’s all what you need it!

So Iv always played 6 string PRS guitars, SE & American made. But I always wanted a 7 string and a few days ago decided to check out zZounds since I have used them for 10 years now on and off. I knew brain head Welch from KORN had a new 7 string ESP but I didn’t realize zZounds carried one until I happened to pass by one on my search for a 7 string. I was honestly scared about buying it not knowing much about ESP etc. well after buying it and it showing up today. I am totally blown away by the build quality, the tone & sound. And how fast and smooth this guitar is. It feels better then any guitar I have ever played. Totally blown away. If you are looking for a high quality 7 string guitar. This is the one you want. Thankfully for zZounds and their easy to finance plans to purchase music equipment. I have a amazing guitar just 2 days later. Good job guys!
