So I've been playing off and on for a few decades now. I own several other Basses. '83 BC Rich, a few Soundgears, Concert series Jackson (my go to these days) and now this LTD. I play in a few local bands as well. I bought this LTD last July. So I've played it for 6 months or so. Over all I think it's a good Bass. The Action came super high, but when I dropped it as far as the saddles would allow. It was pretty low. Thought for sure I'd get some fret buzz, but I did not. I have a luthier's straight edge for the neck, and it was pretty damn good. The fret edges had been dressed so the neck while some what chuncky is pretty fast. Once I sanded that glossy finish off the back of the neck. I do this with all my Basses btw. Speeds up the neck. Anyway I wasn't thrilled with the Fishman pickups. Feel like some of my other Basses pick up (SD 1/4pounders) the higher strings better than these Fishmans do. Also after I lower the saddles the Allen wrench screws stick up quite a bit and are somewhat sharp! Had to take a file to those. And the bass itself is kinda heavy/chuncky. I do enjoy playing it thought. But yeah when I switch from this bass (my 1/2 step bass) to my Jackson (standard tuning) bass you can really feel the difference in weight and neck size. All in all I have to give this bass a 7 out of 10.
