Great guitar at a great price. Can't think of a reason I'd part with either of them, except for a huge profit margin. Great looks and sound, and outstanding quality. What the hell else do you want?
Sound
Don't know what that other idiot was talking about, this thing sounds great. I also have an EC-1000 with the EMG-81's and I think my EC-300ATS sounds better for many applications, not so overdriven. Very warm and expressive, with a nice balanced tone. Not too piercing and not too throaty. Through my Marshall TSL-122 it sounds fuller and more powerful than my Gibson SG Standard.
Features
Bought off the rack with no accessories. If you're extremely fussy pay extra to move up a model for the Tone-Pro's saddle and bridge, along with the locking tuners. Personally I was attracted to the Antique Gold finish at first, then it played it's way into my stable. Everything works.
Quality
Only complaint was with strap knobs, were not tight or set properly. No big deal to me, I always swap them out for Schaller strap locks anyway. Intonation was dead solid perfect. Action was slightly high for my liking, but most guitars are when new. Flawless, beautiful finish. Very sturdy feeling, like a Les Paul. Stays in tune despite my worst thrashings.
Value
Best bang for the buck in the biz. These things outplay most premium priced guitars, including their own American made line!
Manufacturer Support
Past dealings have been positive. Have not had any service needed that I couldn't handle myself.
The Wow Factor
My experience with these things has been great all around, so I'd have to say that I could make a collection of them. As far as I'm concerned there is no difference in desirability between the "ESP"'s and the "LTD"'s, just a big difference in price.

Musical Style:

Rock, heavy blues
