Beautifully made, really nice finish. Sounds amazing, the fluence pickups are almost like a preamp, they push the tubes in your amp to make it sound slightly broken up. I can't imaging why you would buy an entry level Gibson over this. You get so much more guitar for your money with ESP. zZounds was the best as always.

I just bought one from zZounds and it’s amazing! The Fluence Modern pickups aren't that great but I spent the $250 and bought Fluence open core classic zebra pickups, had them switched out, and now this guitar has the best sound of any guitar I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned quite a few. The guitar itself plays like butter and looks fantastic. The pickup change was easy and well worth it. I knew I was going to change the pickups when I bought it. I bought the guitar for the maple/mahogany/ebony combination. Top quality and great price!

I acquired this guitar from the remarkable staff at zZounds, couldn't be happier. The Fluence pick ups are nice, crisp with attack, with a buried warmth to them. After a quick set up and new strings, I plugged it into my Mesa Roadster, EVH 5150 ii el34 100wt stealth, and respectively, a Bugera V55. Honestly sounded great through each rig. The flame top is beautiful, overall bang for buck is awesome. About to record and gig with this axe, so should you!!
