I purchased this guitar a little before Christmas Day for my son. It was here in less than 3 days. Lightning fast shipping right off the bat. Sadly, the EC came in with some damage in the pickup cavity, making adjustments nigh impossible. I contacted zZounds about it, and they had a new one in my hands in the same time frame, less than 3 days. Believe me when I say they customer service is the best I have ever encountered. As for the EC-1000B, it's an absolute metal monster. This thing roars. It was basically setup out of the box, I just had to tweak the action a little, and it was time to chug. And boy howdy, does this thing chug. I put it down to Drop A, and lord have mercy.... the tones off of this thing should be illegal. It's a killer guitar. If you're sitting on the fence on purchasing it, just buy it. You WILL not regret it.
