It rips i actually like the LTD shape a bit more than the standard RR shape because you can wrap your leg around the lower horn better when sitting in classical position. It is a world music korea ESP LTD if you know anything about World music korea then you know they build guitars that rival made in USA quality. Fit and finish is what you would expect at this price it did need a set up but that wasn't an issue and it went smooth getting it to play how i wanted it too. Fret board was bone dry when i got it but it shipped from across the country so no big deal i gave it a nice fretboard oil treatment and waxed the body with some music nomad. The impressive thing to me was only the G string was slightly flat when i got it so that instantly told me that it's gonna hold tune great once i set it up to how i like it. The 1000 series plays just as good as the OG floyd rose i have never had an issue with them. It plays great just like my ripped and hexed it featured the scalloped frets and other high spec Formally ESP only appointments that the later Alexi LTD models have. The fact this was originally a japan only model way back in the day and you can now get one as a LTD it's just nice to finally have that option so thanks zZounds you rock ! Alexi was a genius and icon of shred and metal this is to my understanding his first ever ESP that he had ordered to replace his wild child RR jackson that looks very similar to this guitar. Iconically alexi would inscribe CKY and three Xs into his arrowhead guitar with the date 24/7. This guitar predates the sawtooth inlay making it unique as almost every other guitar he had save for the scythe and katakana featured the sawtooth inlays. Dont case queen this guitar play it gig it shred it like alexi would have to his own !
