I plan to keep this one forever and pass it down. It's really that good. Out of the other Casino's available, since I can't afford an original '61, this is an amazing guitar and in my opinion the best new model available. If you want one or think you want one, don't hesitate, get one while you can.
Sound
Great sound unplugged - even better plugged in. The Gibson P90's are very good, no issues with the hollowbody and feedback.
Features
The controls are exactly what they should be, smooth and responsive. The pointers on the volume and tone are a very useful detail. The Tremotone looks very good works well. Tuning machines are smooth and look great. The case looks better than the pictures, protects the guitar well, and is very sturdy.
Ease of Use
Intonation and tuning are very easy. The intonation wasn't spot on out of the box. But it was very close and only took a minute to fine tune.
Quality
Not a mark on it. The finish isn't thick gloppy poly, it's smooth and not a blemish anywhere. The sunburst looks amazing, very nice accurate appearance. Neck and fretboard look and feel great. The classic smaller headstock looks perfect with this body.
Value
The guitar itself is well worth the price. Along with the service from Zzsounds, it's a great deal!
Manufacturer Support
Not Gibson/Epiphone since I don't have a problem with the guitar. But Zzsounds is great to deal with. 5 day shipping 2400 miles away. The guitar arrived in the case, double boxed, packed with bubble wrap and packing paper.
The Wow Factor
The 50th Anniversary Casino in Vintage Sunburst with Tremotone is a beautiful looking guitar. My wife even likes it, says it's "very pretty".

It's true. I collect special edition Epiphones. I have about 4 in Royal Tan and the same in Sunburst. This is a formidable Casino. I rate these on a par with the Inspired By John Lennon and the Gary Clark jr. Blak & Blu. The Royal Tan is gorgeous, just like the recent re-release of the Riviera with Frequensator Bridge. The Vintage Sunburst is less visual, but these Casinos are great. They're made in China, at Quindao Factory, but I believe, like the Inspired By John Lennons, they have US made p-ups. I like the grey case with plush-ish blue inside. If you find one in excellent cond., POUNCE!
