Older guy that has learning to play guitar on his bucket list. I purchased an acoustical and strat copy a few years ago and they didn't draw me in. This guitar is absolutely beautiful. Fell right into tune and the fit and finish are remarkable. The sounds are very nice and the split pickups give quite a few options. Feels a lot nicer to play then the other guitars I have. After my practice "hour" every day I'm still ready to go and often do.

This was the first guitar I bought. Then I got a used Mexican Fender Strat. I find the Strat much easier to play. The action on the Epiphone is kinda high and when adjusted low i found that the A string always buzzes. To adjust string height all the string move up or down at once. On the Strat you can adjust individual strings. which is an advantage. The Epiphone sounds great. I have had a small with the jack cutting out on me. (seems every guitar can have that)
