You simply cannot beat this guitar for the price! It has nice low action and plays so smooth! I love the feel of the neck and it sounds great! I play through a Peavey Viper and the sounds I can get are amazing! The look of this guitar blew me way! It is a beautiful top and very high quality!! Don't miss out if you are looking for an inexpensive LP style guitar!

"The cool factor is off the charts here"

Listen - it's a slash inspired Les Paul with a flame top; and the Appetite for Destruction signature on the headstock... What more is there to say? There are other guitars that can edge it out in individual areas for this price - but are they as cool? No, no they're not. The pickups and tone out of this thing will make you sound like slash - even if you can only play like a Lil Wayne. You can pick this guitar out of a lineup with just your ears - and that for me is the main reason I bought it. The pickups really are the star here - slightly different that the other zebra coils that ship with other Epiphone Les Paul models in the best way. The fit and finish on the guitar is just fine - the flame top looks good. It's not beveled like the "real" thing; but who cares it's not priced like the real thing either. The built in tuner is absolutely a gimmick, but my god is it a cool gimmick. It's bright, the blue/green/red lights look cool. It can tell you not just what note you're playing when tuning; but also the chord; which is fun for beginners - or safety net to make sure you're about to play the right chord on a dark stage before you crank up the volume and confidently hit the wrong power cord in front of your 17 fans... I bought this guitar for the look and the signature sound; and it delivers on both. A good setup will help; and a few little at home tweaks can really make it play like a dream. The gig back included is really just a nice "extra" - it has no padding so you won't be touring with it; but it'll keep your guitar safe and dust free until you get a better one.
