Amazing guitar for the money! Finish was flawless, and you really have to hand it to Epiphone for their work on their electronics development. Guitar comes with Probucker pickups, even gained up a tad they keep every bit of that rich tonal quality you expect from a Les Paul. Never gets muddy at any level. Clean channel, this beast sounds like heaven! As usual with any new guitar, had to put new strings on it right away, put some GHS Boomer 10's on it, and it came to life!! I have a Hamer Standard and also 2 other Les Paul's , and would put this right there with them all as far as quality, sound and playing.

I got the ltd. Cherry finish Les paul pro and it's a great guitar... The first one I got was a little damaged, dents in pickup and headstock ,but zzounds took care of me and sent me another one and even gave me a discount, and this one was flawless ,beautiful looking and sounding...I love the coil tap ,I had mine pro setup and had a bone nut installed and action set to my style and WoW...get the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Pro....you will not put it down

I cant say enough bout how happy i am with this ax. This thing just barks all around. Tha playability just blew me away,i cant put it down. Got this going thru 100w marshall stack. Just WOW!!. My buddy paid 2300$ for a gibson les paul and he was blown away for the 530 i paid for this. I do my own stuff thru a TC Ditto looper,layed down some tracks last nite then jumped in with a lead,just Wow. Do urself a faver and get one. U wont b disappointed. I cant say enough. Always wanted a les paul but never had the loot because lm disabled and only work part time but this took care of that. Guitar was flawless. Finish is awsum,says its transparent black but looks smokey black one way then looks smokey green black onother way. Depends how u look at i guess,either way its gourgous

Let me start out by saying my guitar came flawless finish wise. Not a single scratch, dent, scuff, overpaint or anything. The knobs feel quality and sturdy, the tone switch has a nice definition. The frets came without any sharp edges. The finish is beautiful and looks great, yes it's only a veneer but it really looks awesome.For the negative, the guitar came setup pretty poorly. The neck had a bow and there was terrible fret buzz. Needed to adjust the truss rod quite a bit even after tuning and letting it settle in. After a proper setup of the truss and intonation everything works perfectly. This is my first Epiphone and I would definitely get one again. The new ProBuckers sound great.

Ordered this in Iced Tea Burst. Absolutely beautiful however, can't tell you how it plays as I had to return it. Both pickups had dents and scratches on them so they looked old and beat up. Called customer service to request a return authorization and obtained it rather easily or so I thought. It took 24 hrs to get the email with the return slip. After I dropped it off at UPS it took another 24 hrs to ship the replacement and to add insult to injury it is going to take 6 days before it will be delivered when it only took 2 the first time. So know they have my money for over a week and I still don't have a guitar to play. Guess I should have just kept the minorly damaged one. This is the 4th Epi I have purchased and never had a quality problem. Wonder if they are having trouble keeping up with demand as they are priced so great so now the "little" things are being missed. Seems to me zZounds would want customer's to get another axe pretty quickly. Guess not.
