I have been busy and just now opened the case Its been here for about a week and this is truly beautiful and actually plays better than my Les Paul and SG Modern which I cherish the sound actually brought tears. The playability is secound to none, barr chording beautifully easy silky action and fast fretboard actually makes me want to go acoustic again. The sound is very deep and gutty with effects and pedals makes you wonder what your actually playing . this is a hybrid beyond belief. Im astounded!

I’m a union boilermaker, I travel for work, I bought this guitar so I would have to take my Gibson J45 or my Martin America 1 way to expensive to have on the road, I’ve bought several new Epiphone over the past few years , the new inspired by have really impressed me a lot , and this one is no exception, this is a serious GUITAR, after you get used to the v shaped neck !! It’s all solid wood with LR Baggs electronics, the action was on point, best guitar I’ve owned under 2000 dollars would be safe to say , if your looking or wondering about this guitar all I can say is the one I got is a killer , cold stone KILLER!!

I bought This Epiphone Slash Sig. J-45 on the 13th of Jan. 2025 so I haven't had it so long. I have been playing off and on for almost half a century. So, I know Guitars. I wasn't in the market for another guitar to be honest, but I looked at the specs of this model and then Epiphone had to have it on their website "for a limited Time" they cut the price $200.00 from the original price of $9.99 to a sale price of $799.00 The standard IBG J-45 is a really guitar and most would be quite happy with it, but the extras or mods make this model a no brainer purchase. for $50.00 more than the price of the Standard IBG J-45 This Slash J-45 gives you a much more comfortable neck something between a "D" shape and a "V" shape. Neck is similar to a 50' Les Paul. You get Mother of Pearl inlaid Epi logo, An Under saddle pickup: LR Baggs VTC, Mother of Pearl Dots, Graph Tech TUSQ, Grover Rotomatic Tuners and to top it off a very nice Hardshell Case. The the sound of this guitar is exceptional, I have played Gibson J-45's and they didn't inspire me as much as this one did. Now don't get me wrong. this is no Gibson and is it's own sound but saying that a very useful enjoyable inspiring tone. If you looking for an acoustic with steel strings I would encourage you to give this one a go. I believe you would be happy you did. A lot of Guitar for your hard earned money without breaking the bank.

Musical Background:

Strignsed Instuments "mostly Guitat" of almost half a Century

Musical Style:

Was a Mental Head but over the years I slowed down of course and now I'm happy with 50's style music.

I'm heading over to my local guitar store and do some head to head comparisons with the top of the line Gibsons, Taylors, and Martins. I have 25 guitars in my collection at this time and have been playing for more than 30 years. Love this guitar, and love the price.

Ok in it’s own right the Epiphone j45 is a great guitar. All around gem I bought this for a beater. ( gigs campfires bonfire and parties) I’m rather impressed 3 months later. With that said YouTube you’ll find many misleading reviews. If you listen and hear no difference between Gibson and Epiphone then buy the Epiphone hands down. Do they sound the same absolutely not. Is it comparable nope. I have both the Gibson is louder the notes more pronounced the resonance on the Gibson rings on the Epiphone dies out but not as quickly as you’d expect for the price. Bottom line if your looking for a great guitar for a lower price this is perfect. If you’re looking for that 2-4K Gibson sound you need to spend the money.

I love the colors of the November Burst. I’ve had this guitar about idk 6 months. I first thought it did have enough base, but the mids and hi’s were perfect. It lacked a deep tump but seems the older it gets the more thump it has. But for $800 it a beautiful guitar and very loud. I’m very happy with it for the price. The neck has a unique, shape hard to explain very easy to play. The tuners hold tune unbelievable. I hardly ever have to tune it. It the perfect guitar to play drunk sitting out side with friends and not worrying about scratching a 5k guitar

The one I received is unplayable due to intonation issues. I know it's an affordable guitar but quality control and build should still be better.
