I have a purple Widow from another retailer and this one blows that one away. the top in picture does not do this guitar justice. it is better than any Les Paul i have. the QC was fantastic the action a little high for me, after lowering it down plays great no fret buzz, intonated perfectly. i am really impressed with this guitar i would like to see zZounds do another color. it makes want to but the zZounds other exclusive Epiphone colors and models if they are this good and this kind of QC quality. once again great job.

To say epiphone has upped there game would be an understatement.They have completely redesigned there game. Quality has improved.It plays superb, the ebony fretboard gives it a nice sweet flavor.Plenty of aggression out of the pickups. Fit and finish A+

This might be my new favorite Epiphone. This color is easy nicer than the widow guitars the competitors sell. It's a typical Epi custom electronics-wise, for good reason, it sounds fantastic!

Man this is an awesome guitar!!! I wish the pickups were a little hotter but they still kick ass!!! I lowered the action a bit but this guitar was set up beautifully straight out of the box... I figured I'd need to at least tune it but I was wrong lol... No tuning needed and it plays like a dream!! I demo'd a Gibson LP Standard not too long ago and this plays better than that!!! I LOVE this guitar!!

The sound of these pickups is almost as good as the true Gibson... It resonates and sounds amazing!!

As far as I can tell this is a one piece mahogany body with a traditional 2 piece AAA flame maple top... It's beautiful in person!!!

3 months of owning this and it's held up to me so yeah I'd say she's a tough well put together playmate!!

Yo unless you just HAVE to have a Gibson, get this and any other Epiphones built like these are... Example, the IBG line!

This guitar is amazing and is just as good as a Gibson in my opinion outside of the fact that Epiphone chooses to use polyurethane instead of nitro for their finishes which just has a different look but as far as the finish itself goes this thing is amazing and when I have lights on it it is absolutely breathtaking even in dimmed areas it is amazing and the sound quality on this is absolutely Les Paul all the way and I don't have any complaints on it. The action was just a little bit high for me out of the box but I lowered it down and now it's wonderful! I love it!
