I've been a guitarist for over 30 years now the Les Paul has always been my guitar of choice. I own a 2019 Gibson Les Paul Traditional which covers rock and blues tones very well. But when I want to play on the heavy, atmospheric side, this Epiphone nails it. This guitar is everything I could ask for. It's extremely well built, great balance, stays in tune for days, the neck profile is a bit thinner than my Gibson, but it's a nice handful, it's a good weight at 9-1/2 lbs, and the Volute is a great touch. Now for the tones. This Custom does so much more than just heavy. It cleans up beautifully. The artwork on the back did nothing to sway my decision, but it looks better in person than in the photos. Throw in the included bomb-proof case and it's the total package. This has quickly become my go-to guitar, and now that it's on sale, it's a STEAL.

Wow. So... first off, i own and play american guitars too. This guitar is fantastic. No issues with electronics. Fit and finish is stunning. Pickups sound great (I'd say perfect but perfect for me and you may be different).5 min with this beauty in my hands and I knew I found my les paul. This is just perfect. Art aside, it's an absolutely great guitar. And the art is cool and adds something different. I know the idea here is that they are collectable... but i bought it to play... and playing i will. Sounds great, feels great, works great. Out of the box, the neck felt a little dry... literally the only negative and that's nothing. I'll condition it. Case is very nice hard shell. Neck feels great. Nothing about this guitar looks or feels or sounds cheap. And zZounds... this company honestly has the best customer service. I'm a loyal customer after having had issues with sweetwater and finding nothing but great experiences here. Insanely fast shipping. Ordered yesterday... arrived today. We'll packaged and in perfect condition. I can't say enough good things about zZounds.

This Les Paul has way more personality than any other guitar I've ever owned. And I've owned many. It plays fantastic, sounds great and looks amazing. Throw in the bad-*ss hard case and it's a serious winner. If you're considering it, you should just get it. It's worth every penny.

I’m a Les Paul guy, bought an Epiohone Alex Lifeson model; the guitar is beautiful but I’m just not a Floyd Rose fan. It just sits in case. This guitar was listed at 699 a month ago and I couldn’t pass it up. Not a fan of the artwork but only 800 of each made is enough to buy it. But, I’m gonna tell you this guitar rips. The Seymour Duncan is a great pickup but this is just an all around killer guitar. Can’t beat it and the case is awesome too, that’s 200 bucks right there. The back painting I bought isn’t listed but it’s not that bad. Who sees it and the silverburst is awesome.

I wanted another Gibson then I realized I play my cheaper guitars far more than my expensive ones. This thing is a lot for an Epiphone but it’s quality, frets feel a bit gritty but that’s a few minutes to polish. Everything looks good ,great hard case tuners are fine the artwork is cool finally a guitar I can play without fear of sweating on it or chipping or scratching it .I paired this with an orange cr60c sounds awesome .Some complained about the input jack. No issues on mine even the pickups sound great ! If you’re thinking bout it. Just get it. You know you’re gonna get the Gibson later on anyway. It’s worth the 1299 price. No complaints. Plus it arrived fast !

Took a little bit to get used to the weight but a good strap fixed that. Beautiful artwork and excellent pot response. Just turn the bridge volume down a notch and jam away. Like everyone else I was blown away by the quality of the case.
