I bought this guitar a few months ago, and this is truly a battle axe! Awesome sustain, incredible action and playability and played through my Metal Pedal I have an incredibly heavy sound for the music I write!I highly recommend this guitar for metal guitar players! One of Epiphone's best guitars!!!

If you can get over the fact that these are coming from China and are not packed as well as Jackson's coming from Indonesia (no foam molding to secure them: it was shifting in the inside box when I unpackaged it) and the fact that it wasn't exactly clean......the bad news is that you'll have to set yours up, if you order one, the plastic on the pick-guard is scratched (but it doesn't look like it's through to the pick-guard, itself......and, for whatever reason, the shafts on the pots are pretty tall and the top hats have a good 1/4" gap between the bottom of the knobs and the body...If you can get over that, the guitar, itself, is absolutely beautiful. It has a good feel to it. Depending on your style of music, you may-or may not-like the pick-ups... but I didn't buy this one for the pick-ups.It's one of the best Epiphone Flying V's I've ever seen. For the price, you can't go wrong with this one.
