This Les Paul Special is perfect. At 6 lbs 14.5 ounces , it’s a pleasure to play for extended times. The Gibson P 90’s sound great and take to pedals fantastically. The fretboard feels great after a polishing and moisturizing. The neck came out of the box straight. All I had to do is lower the action to specs. The TV yellow is almost dead on .This is my third Epiphone Gibson collaboration guitar and would not hesitate to buy another one that catches my eye. The people at zZounds are great dealers with good customer service.

"Decent Guitar with Some Work Needed"

Overall this is a really decent guitar. It came set up fairly well. The pickups are great for P90's. I may put some Fluence in for playing live because of the noise. I forgot how noisy P90s can be. The fretwork on mine was really good. I didn't have to address anything in that department. I did have to replace the pots though. The bridge tone did nothing and they all were a bit noisy and felt cheap. The guitar came wonderfully intonated, especially for a wraparound bridge. If you don't mind a bit of work, this is every bit as good as a Gibson counterpart.
