I was very skeptical. A 1299.00 Epiphone, but I went ahead and bit the bullet. All I can say is WOW! These are amazing guitars. I also own a Gibson Custom Shop R8 and when i say that this guitar is 95% there at a fraction of the cost, I mean it!

Well, 1st off I ordered the cherry burst and they sent Ice Tea burst. I called and explained the issue to zZounds. They pretty much dismissed the problem saying it is washed cherry. It is not.As far as the guitar. 1200 bucks you would think frets and hardware would not need adjustments.I guess its an Epiphone thing. You will have to get a set up with a fret dressing.Feels like guitar is around 8 lbs. Amazing for a solid wood body. The neck is amazing. It just feels right. Thin but flatter than on thr 60's model. Works for me.Sound is perfect. Low output on the p/u. You can get great sounds using the volume and tone knobs. I don't think this guitar was made for metal, but you can get there if you want. I really dig the guitar just pissed zZ won't acknowledge they sent the wrong color.
