This is by far the most exceptional guitar that I have played in this price range, including any PRS and Fender doesn’t even come close. I’ve been a Strat man all my life but I can’t put this guitar down. The value here is well over $2400 and then some, this is unbelievable at $1299 not understanding how they can sell at only $1299 even my friends Gibson es 335 is no comparison to this guitar he’s shocked

This guitar is incredible! From its aesthetics to functionality, it’s got it all. The neck is so comfortable, and playing is easy. I don’t have to fight with the guitar to get it to play nicely. Chords easy and smooth, and licks just flow. The pups are incredible, too. I’m playing through a Quilter, and it sounds so clean and chimy, just a beautiful tone. Excellent electronics. Switchcraft pup selector, CTS pots and Mallory caps help to dial in the sweet spot. Holding this guitar is so comfortable that I can play it for hours. It’s a real beautiful guitar, it’s got the nice headstock, and it resonates. For the money, you cannot go wrong. This guitar is so full of value that you may regret not getting it. Seriously, if you’re on the fence because it was made in China, don’t let that stop you. Best I can tell, the only real difference between this guitar and its USA counterpart is that this was made by a cat named Ming instead of a cat named Mike, and Ming is a guitar building Mthr Effer! I’m no Gibson expert, nope, but I’d bet that anyone doing a blind test couldn’t discern a difference. It’s that good. Mine got here fast, frets are great, no sharp edges, tuned right up, after a couple days of settling into the desert air here in the LV NV valley, this guitar is incredible for the money. I can’t wait to play it more. It really is one of the best values you’ll find, and zZounds is incredible. I could not get this guitar without their awesome payment plans, so thank you zZounds for helping a brother out. Get it! You won’t regret it.

I bought this for my son for Christmas, and looked it over this morning in my shop. First, quality of the finish was great, not a blemish on it. The pickups sound unbelievable, but it is a very bassy guitar through a 1978 Marshall JMP head and 2 4x12's. I had to turn the treble all the way up and the mids and bass down to about 3. after getting the settings tuned it I was able to really hear the tone, and it was unbelievable. Once I was playing it, I notice some really sharp fret ends, which I took care of during the set up process. The Action was set to twice the normal height out of the case. At the first fret the action was set at .025 of an inch and at the 12th on the 6th string 10/64, so it was really high. The neck relief was spot on at .010. I had to file the nut slots and take some off the nut to get it down to .012 and then I was able to take the bridge down to get the action set. After doing all that, it plays really freaking nice. The cade is really nice too. The guitar seems to be built really well and for the most part, they paid close attention to detail. I think I am going to buy my self one in a few months.

I have to say that this guitar is absolutely flawless! Epiphone knocked out of the park with this one! Just to think that a set of custom bickers are around $500, this is a great deal! And Finally an actual Gibson shaped headstock!!! I couldn’t be happier, and I’m afraid if you don’t get one now, you probably won’t!!!

I’m extremely happy with this purchase !! I can’t find any flaws. The white with gold hardware is awsome. Action and intonation came set up perfect. I really like the Gibson strings too. Will be using them on all my guitars. This is my second Epiphone 59 ES-355 . My olive drab with the bigsby is my favorite. These can’t be beat for the price. I’m extremely happy with my multiple purchases from zZounds also, good customer service.

This is very much a Gibson just has that feel.it sounds and plays amazing. I'm not big on the paint sheen but do like the white color. The guitar feels solid there is little blems in the paint but the guitar is so great I don't care after all it's a 1959 lol thanks zZounds.com for your play and pay and fast shipping
