I was blown away as soon as I took it out of the box. Jack says that these "...blow the old Gibsons to smithereens." He's not kidding. The fit and finish on my instrument is flawless. I was really impressed with the sound also. It's kind of a woody tone that I guess is inherent on hollow body (or semi-hollow body) instruments. It is definitely more like a stand-up bass than any solid body bass that I have played. I also ordered the hard case because an instrument of this caliber deserves one. I only gave "Manufacturer Support" 4 stars because I haven't had to contact them. I'm delighted with mine. I think that you will be, too.

Just unpacked my long awaited JC 20th anniversary bass and wowed upon opening the box. Exactly as described with included strap, cert. of authenticity and gig bag. Gig bag while not as padded as top dollar bags it is more than adequate. The strap looks really well made and padded. Very good quality. The bass is stunning. Color and finish are beautifully done. Set up was perfect out of the box. You won't want to put this one down. Well done Jack and Epiphone!

I just love this bass. I was a bit concerned about the color when I saw it on the website however, was I wrong. The color on this bass is excellent. The overall constructor is excellent. And the most important thing - how does it some. Excellent.

Well here we go. I received My LE Casady Bass. 1st, It was damaged; broken machine head. Zzounds was very good about it. They offered a full refund, but I wanted the bass. Gibson sent a new machine head fast. 2nd, Epiphone advertises that Jack plays them right out of the box. No way! I replaced the tuning heads with a set of Grovers. 3rd, I sent it to my luthier to set up. Now the good part.It looks great; great finish and great electronics. I gig with her now. It's nicer then a p bass.
