"Play it for a while before you buy it."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
Sounds great and I set it up for playing slide guitar on Blues songs. Mine has a wide neck so make sure you play yours for a while to make sure you like it before you buy it. It sounds good over all but is not my main guitar as it is very heavy like a Les Paul.
Features
I really like the mini humbuckers and being able to control the sound out of each one of them.
Ease of Use
It takes a while to figure out how to get the sound you want so keep working at it until you get your sound set. Mine did not come with a manual so it took a whlie how to set my souind. It is very playable and produces a lot of different sounds.
Quality
This guitar is very well made. I bought mine used but it is very reliable and can stand up to road use.
Value
Great price for a great guitar.
Manufacturer Support
No dealings with Epiphone directly.
The Wow Factor
It is one of my 28 guitars but not in the top 10.

"Epiphone Firebird Vll"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I Had a 76 Gibson back in the Grunge days...I really like this guitar. It plays great and the fit and finish are really good. The mini humbuckers sounded a bit too much like the humbuckers in my les paul. So I had to do it, now she has three P-90s in her! This Firebird really rocks thru the old JMP.

"Great guitar for the money!!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
I also had a Gibson Firebird back in the 60's and this is very close to the original. I was pleasently surprised on how well it plays and sounds for the money. If your looking for a guitar that plays well and inexpensive for gigging or just for your own enjoyment this is the one. I have a few guitars (sg, sg doubleneck, strat, & a peavey strat copy and I use this guitar to gig with. So let go of some of that moneyand GET YOU ONE.

I love this guitar. My only complaint is that it is neck heavy.
Sound
Great humbucker sound. Sounds great live; I play through a Marshall half-stack.
Features
Tremolo bar, tone pot, three volume knobs (a bit overboard if you ask me). What else do you need?
Quality
Very well made, durable and looks fabulous.
Value
Tons of guitar for the price. You could spend $1000 more for the Gibson, but why?

Overall I give a 10 to everything because this is one guitar I know I would put in a collection everything not make e it seem like it truely is an "fire" bird.
Sound
This guitar is sound is the sugar in the cookie with the 3 mini humbukles it bring out the best.
Features
The gold and the shape of this guitar make it worth its price I only wish i could have one.
Quality
Even if you want the gibson there is no differnce between this brand and it. The differnce at all is the brands names which means the quality is great.
Value
Im going to lie this is a well built guitar and everything on it is great it is well worth the price.
Manufacturer Support
I have not the chance to deal with the company of this product but my friend has and he said they are fast and friendly so I give them a ten.
The Wow Factor

"Excellent sound, best beauty, best value, and of course, the best chick magnet."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I plan on using this guitar until it falls apart. If it were stolen, I would buy another. The only guitar that almost compares in beauty is a Les Paul, but even they are a distant second place.
Sound
This guitar sounds like what I wish every guitar sounded like. The sound quality is very versatile; I can make it sound like whatever I want just about. Regardless of what genre you play, you can achieve your tone dreams with this baby. I generally just run this guitar through my Line 6 POD, but sometimes I run it through a Danelectro distortion peddal or two. If you want the best versatility, I recommend Elixir strings; the price is worth it especially with a guitar that plays as well as the Firebird VII.
Features
This has a rosewood neck with beautiful pearl inlays for fret markers, golden hardware, three tone knobs, a volume knob, three pick-ups, tremolo bar, and amazing awesomeness.
Ease of Use
This guitar is extremely playable. In fact, I find myself playing it when I should be doing homework. It is heavier than most guitars so if you want a guitar to rock out with like crazy on stage you might look elsewhere. It is also longer than most guitars so if your playing area is cramped, you might accidentally bang your guitar on something. Beyond those two minor setbacks, this guitar just feels good. Sometimes at night I can hear it calling to me, "Play me! Play me!!!"
Quality
This is one of the sturdiest guitars I have seen. If it doesn't last me for years, it will be because it got slammed into something on accident.
Value
In my opinion, the Firebird VII is comparable to guitars that cost several thousand. Why pay big bucks when items like this are on the market ?

The Wow Factor
THE FIRST TIME I TOOK THIS GUITAR TO SCHOOL, THE SCHOOL LESBIAN WAS CHECKING ME OUT! The design by itself is enough to drool over. I've never seen anything like it. The closest thing would probably be the Epiphany Explorer, but when compared to this thing, Explorers look like scrap metal. The brown-ish color on the polished black background, the shiny gold hardware, the shape - these are the reasons that guitarists get all the girls! I feel like all my problems are gone when I plug this baby in.
