"Kustom Monitor Replacement"

I bought some cheap, and I do mean CHEAP, Kustom monitors from a big box music store. The subs blew out within a couple of months. The rest of the box and the horn were all fine. I bought two of these speakers and replace the stock oem. So far, so good. And, I have still spent less than buying a new stage monitor. The reason I bought the monitor was size. Too many venues in East Tennessee do not have large stage areas. Now that the Kustom has a good American Made speaker, maybe it will last.

Got these today and installed them in a pair of cheap technical pro molded cabs and tested them to my pleasantly surprised ears. They are twice as powerful as the stock the cabs had and more musical. The high frequency driver in these speakers are much better than their stock counterpart so this a good combination. They sound great.

"Good speaker value for the size"

Sound
I purchased these speakers to replace the aging speakers in a couple Elite monitor wedges that were approaching 20 years of service and cracking. They seem strongly built and sound good and beefy. So far so good.
Features
The Elite speakers had push button wire clips for easy connect and disconnect of the wires which was nice. The Eminence Delta's only had tabs that I had to put clips on my speaker wires for connecting. Was a little bit of a pain, as I had to run to the electronics store to purchase some (I had ran out).
Value
Best price I found for them was a Z-sounds

If you need smaller compact speakers, and have proper power to push them, this is your speaker.

"love this speaker"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

i have a roland cube 40 amp. i play guitar and bass. so, i thought i would put a bass speaker in it. on their website it says delta 10. it is really a 10a. that is a subwoofer. i did not know that when i ordered the first one. i now have two of them because i have two of the roland 40 amps. i can now play bass or regular guitar. awesome. if it is not enough power you can run them in stereo. even more awesom. you get a flutter out of the speaker. kind of like natural distortion. it even makes my guitar sound better. i probably should not be telling you my secret for my sound. listen to zz tops bass player. if you like his sound this is kind of how my bass sounds. if you guys on the website read this you need to correct this on the site. could stop some problems in the future. someone might order this thinking they are getting a bass speaker and not know it is a subwoofer. if you want to thank me you can give me another one for free. i have anothe amp i would like to do the same too. thank you. p.s.-i do not work for them or nor do i even know them. i got very good service. if you do this to your amp-do at your own risk.
