Sound
This is a good sounding reverb unit. Very quiet at what would be considered "normal" reverb settings. Can get a tad bit noisy when you go over the top with the blend and amount knobs. The spring reverb sounds great....it's not as nice as the reverb tank in my 70s silver face twin reverb, but it does the job and doesn't weigh 70 pounds.
Features
The spring, hall, and room reverbs are all useful. The flerb is just plain fun and, when used at the right times, is actually a nice little bonus effect that this pedal can dish out. The blend knob is also a very nice feature. This is a well thought out pedal. A plate reverb would net this a 10.
Ease of Use
Pretty straightforward. You just have to understand that most EHX effects are don't really work like typical Boss effects; The range of the knobs on an EHX box generally have a much broader sweep. Once you figure out that anything past 1 O'Clock on the blend knob is going to be pure insanity (really, if you want a traditional reverb sound, you are only going to be working the blend and amount knobs between 11 and 1...anything more extreme in either direction can yield some odd effects) it's not too hard to dial in something close to what you are looking for.
Quality
I haven't had any problems with this box, but EHX effects are pretty legendary for poor solder joints on the input and output jacks.
Value
Reverb units are usually on the expensive side of the spectrum. This one is no different. $140 for a mass produced pedal is a good chunk of coin, but this is worth it.

Cannot tell much about the sound quality. Turned it on, played some notes, and the thing started making a loud sound. Tried different cables. No reverb, just noise. Going back... thanks for the return policy.
