I bought these primarily to be used as my Bluetooth speakers for backing tracks to play Guitar and bass with. Typically Bluetooth speakers and stereo systems just don’t work as well as these. Playing rock music I noticed these speakers shine with vocals range and the snare and attack on the kick drums pop out clearly and make you think you are listening to a live band. That’s exactly the sound quality I’ve been looking for!!!

I own 16 of these speakers (and their earlier versions - all powered). I own a sound company and provide sound for numerous fairs, festivals, and events. I use these as main front of house speakers for smaller stages. They crank. I also use these as stage monitors and they are LOUD. I started buying these powered 12 inch EV speakers in 2016 ... and have continued purchasing them thru the years adding to inventory. I ONLY purchase and use the 12 inch versions. I bought a pair of 15s and did not care for the response, so I sold them and bought more of these 12s. Going on 8 years, only 1 speaker has failed (it was dropped about 6 feet). It is currently turned in for repair. I highly recommend these. For mains, I ALWAYS use these with subs (unless they're being used as monitors). Two of these per side, with a couple sunbs per side, will provide all the sound you need for about 1,500 people. I highly recommend (and use these weekly). Great speakers at a killer price. They are not as good as my $3200 each line array - but for $500 they cannot be beat.
