I'll be forward... I'm a huge fan of the TC Electronics Ditto loopers. In fact, I've owned all three of them. The last was the Ditto X4. It was easy to use, had useful on-board effects, and was all around a solid looper; much better than the BOSS or Jam Man hands down. However, it died on me after less than a year of ownership. TC Electronics was ZERO help in figuring out the issue and in fact wouldn't even honor their warranty on it. I NEEDED a looper fast, so I picked this one up. It doesn't have the effects that the Ditton had, but the loops are smoother, it has the ability to save loops, and it does what it is supposed to do without a learning curve and very little practice. EHX can sometimes be iffy, but this one has been one of the better of their products I've used. If you need a looper for live performances, or any other application for that matter, this one is it.

The EHX 720 looper comes with a bunch of features like Reverse, 1/2 speed, has a bank to store 10 different loops for as long as you want, the recording/stop/play sequence can be changed if needed. The only feature that I would add (but I don't really need for my self) is the option to store a loop right off your computer with usb. Anything from that, this looper's got everything! Quality looks great, pretty rough built like a tank and will surely last years. The sound quality is great, it has a counter to let you know the lenght of a loop and when it will start again, this is great for both practice and live action. I have used this live for solo performances and it works great, just get use to it and practice a lot!
