"Pretty Much Blown Away"

Let's put it this way: I have a multi-channel Engl rack for heavy gigs or for projects requiring lots of switching and multiple tones in the same song. That's fine, but as you mature as a player, you start to crave the tone and expressiveness of a single-channel amp. For my less-heavy, more diverse material and for single-guitar ensembles, this is my amp of choice. Between the TWO amps, I have everything I need. It's a paradigm thing. If you want single channel beauty and simplicity, this is your guy.
Sound
I'll put it simply: this is a boutique-quality amplifier, and it sounds like it.
Features
I could rate it lower based on the idea that it isn't a multi-channel rackmount system, but that's not what this amp is supposed to be. For a single-channel amplifier, this has more features than you can use at any one time. Bright switch, low-cut ("tight") switch, buffered effects loop, built-in power attenuator, and the ability to blend tones between two pairs of power tubes -- WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM A 20-WATT SINGLE-CHANNEL AMP???
Ease of Use
Plug in and start twisting knobs. Can't get any easier than that, but they did throw in a list of recommended settings, anyway. This amp is foolproof.
Quality
Too early to really gauge reliability, but it comes with a great warranty and seems to be built very well. The knobs and switches are tight and smooth, the components are top-quality, and I don't anticipate I have much to worry about.
Value
I am a cheap b*stard and I did my homework before buying this amp. If there was a better value out there, I would have bought it. I don't spend thousands of dollars on amps, I spend a few hundred dollars wisely. If you're looking for tone and value for money, you will have a hard time beating the Rebel 20.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't needed support. The company makes their contact info very apparent on the product manuals and invites customers to call up any time.
The Wow Factor
The product itself is genius, but WTF is sex appeal? If you are a tone junkie looking for a single-channel amp, this is it.

I see no reason to ever sell or replace it, it is a great addition to my arsenal.
Sound
Do not be afraid to buy one of these. Unless your band is stupid loud this amp will cut it, don't let the 20 watts fool you...AND it will sound like a puking its guts out botique tube amp. Which it is. The response is really good and the sound is very, very good. And this is with the stock tubes, whatever they are. I'm talking for rock in the Pearl Jam, older Stones, older Rush, 70s ZZ Top, Bad Co. vein, not metal. It does a top notch Black Sabbath too. If you like the classic guitar sounds this will do them all with authority. If you can't play accurately, don't waste your money because every mistake will be very apparent. The definition is extremely good. If you are a competent player, this is a great, great, GREAT amp! I use it with various Les Paul Standards and Customs from 1978 to 2005 (stock Gibson and Seymour Duncan '59 pickups) thru a 1960 Marshall 4 X 12, 16 ohm slant cabinet with greenbacks. I am VERY happy with this amp and I don't have to cart the Marshall TSL 100 around, which I can't turn up anyway. Like I said, if you like the classic sounds of the good players buy this, it nails them, and is a fully professional piece of gear. Incidentally, after I used it at a rehearsal, our singer said "Oh my god what IS that? Thats the best sounding amp I have ever heard!" And he's used to my and his Marshalls and Laneys (several different styles of each, all tube) amps if that tells you anything.
Features
I think whoever designed this circuit is brilliant. This is a great amp, every control is useful and there is no stupid crap.
Ease of Use
Basically, just plug in and it sounds good. If you can't get a great sound out of this in 10 seconds you probably can't get a great sound out of anything.
Quality
I have had no problems at all and I have no reason to think I ever will. I would say it is every bit as reliable as any big name amp I own.
Value
It isn't cheap, but in my opinion is very well worth every penny.
Manufacturer Support
Don't know, never needed any.
The Wow Factor
I don't give a crap. How does it sound? How does it feel? Thats what I care about...it does look pretty cool though. And it sounds and feels reeeeeely good.

I've tried a number of amps and they all seemed to be too something , too loud , too much bite , too much tin , too something . I like this one the best . I don't play big stages and don't need a lot of volume . I play and write al lot of pretty music mostly studio work and I want warmth and tone . I 'm using it right now with a 12 inch celestion tubby which sounds good but I'll experiment around . It's all matter of taste but if you're where I'm at I give it a try . I'm using a Clapton strat . ZZ sounds payment plan helps too if you're on a budget .

"Incredible Amp at this price point!"

The tone, the build quality, the versatility... all make this an amp worth twice the price. Variable wattage and choices from sparkling clean to really ballsy rock tones... the Rebel 20 does it all for me. I'm thrilled with it after a short time! Sounds great through my Egnater Tourmaster 2x12. And the carry bag (which is a lot more sustantive than I thought it would be) makes it easy to get it to practice then back to the house. All around EXCITEMENT packed into a small box!

"Tone Machine!"

Sound
This is an incredible portable amp. I run my Egnater through a Budda 2x12 and let me tell ya its pretty impressive. Dialing in a good tone takes a manner of seconds and the volume is more than sufficient to gig with.
Features
For the price your getting a single channel head that has multiple different voicings by adjusting the wattage, tube blend and the tight and bright knobs. Its a pretty straight forward interface that really works with dialing in a good tone. Also you wont find an FX Loop on alot of amps like this. I use alot of delays, reverbs and there is a difference that you can hear with the preamp tube buffer. Very useful for getting a more organic sound.
Ease of Use
Easy to use, no nonsense that allows you to get right to playing.
Quality
This unit is built very well, and with the addition of the carrying bag makes it that much easier to protect your amp. Only gripe I have is that the leather handle is a bit thin but none the less feels secure.
Value
Its an incredible little tone machine. Egnater is a great brand of boutique style amps that you really just cant beat.
Manufacturer Support
Have not had to use support but as soon as I received it I sent in the limited warranty just in case of any unforeseen issues arise.
The Wow Factor
Low wattage heads are upcoming and coming in the style factor. So do yourself a favor and leave that whole "bigger is better" mentality behind. Buy this amp for what it is and you wont regret it.
