"Great for the price but not true eden quality"

Bought this because I wanted a small practice amp very familiar with the brand name so I was excited to see that there was a practice amp Eden made that was affordable. I had to send the first one back because it had a lot of buzzing and over modulation and even low volumes. I thought it was the amp I bought. I had a new one sent out and have the same issue so it’s just a poor quality issue with the speaker I’m assuming. Doesn’t sound that bad if you keep the volume and the tones low but is soon as you bring it up past 50% it gets very raunchy sounding but not in a good way definitely not something I would expect An eden product to do. So I’ll say for the price it’s great, But you’d probably be better off with a fender rumble or a Hartke. But bottom line you can’t beat a 50 W amp for 100 bucks.

I bought this amp because I was looking for an inexpensive amp for my Electro-Harmonic B9 Organ Pedal. The B9 pedal is capable of some awesome low frequency sounds and I didn't want to damage my guitar amps. For the price you won't find a better bargain than this amp; 50 watts with an 8" speaker. (Especially since the price has recently been reduced.)I tested the amp with a guitar, and with the organ pedal. I was impressed by its tone, especially with the organ pedal. The tone was full and rich. It has your standard three band EQ controls; bass, mid & treble and they have a lot of impact on the overall sound. For a guitar I used an Epiphone Les Paul Custom with "Seymour Duncan Hot Rods" and a Boss Power Stack pedal. The amp responded nicely. It was hard to believe the amp only has an 8" speaker. Cranking the bass tone control in conjuction with the Power Stack gave me a massive tone. The mid range was also quite full, and really had some punch to it.I've seen some reviews that said this amp doesn't have a great bottom end. I have a Fender Rumble 25 and this amp doesn't quite have the "thump" of the Fender. If that's the case then I would think this would be a fine amp for a baritone guitar because of the great mid range response. The amp appears well made. It has an odd fabric covering instead of Tolex. It's more like indoor/outdoor carpet. It has a pre-gain and master volume but I don't know why. Cranking the pre-gain didn't provide the usual distorted crunch that you usually get when you do this on other amps.In conclusion, I used this amp with a guitar so this review must be judged in that light.
