"Quality rack, disregard poor reviews"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 30+ year old son, and assembled it at his house, without any help, and with no modification needed. All of the holes lined up, and all of the pieces fit together smoothly. I have read the negative reviews, and couldn't disagree more with them. The assembly process was intuitive, even if there were no written directions.

"Nice Rack!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

I own five of these racks, two Alpha's, and three Bravo's. Going to be purchasing another Bravo soon, and the extra storage shelf. Extremely sturdy and well built. We use them in my shop where guitar get used many times daily, so it is not just for long term storage. Putting the units together was simple. The first one I got was an Alpha, and it was right after it was released. I had the entire unit together in under 15 minutes. The instructions are similar to Ikea instructions, with pictures rather than detailed explanations. It was great for me. (There was also a phone number and email contact for any questions about assembly, but I didn't need them). The tool included was cheap, but it did a fine job of putting the unit together.

"Furniture!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Everyone agrees that it’s a good idea to have beautiful guitars around the house. You know what’s not a good idea? Cases. Wall hangers. Ugly black stands. Those are surefire ways to jack your feng shui, annoy your family and friends, and communicate a lack of love and respect to your stringed buddies. Fight back against ugly guitar storage with these DRS racks. They look amazing, are easy to keep clean, and keep your guitars safe and within arms reach for those late evening shred sessions. I had no issues assembling my rack—seriously, easier than IKEA—and my wife is a HUGE fan of the bamboo. BONUS FEATURE—my rack isn’t full, so my toddler points to the one empty slot and reminds me that I need another guitar. It keeps me focused on the things that matter most.

"Fantastic product"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Fit and Finish are excellent. Very easy to put together. Hasn’t reacted to the finish on my guitars like cheap racks can.Wife appreciates it looks more like furniture and not industrial. All in all a good solid American made product, works as described and have had zero issues with mine over several years.

"Attractive, Well Designed Guitar Rack"

DRS Alpha is a truly well designed, sturdy yet attractive display rack for 6 to 7 guitars. It's easy to put together and looks good enough for public display.

"Not worth $400.00"

This item is extremely poorly made. The horizontal brace was over a half inch too long. All the pilot holes were too small and had to be enlarged to prevent the wood from splitting. The holes in the bottom horizontal pieces had to be re drilled as they did not line up at all. The finish is poorly done. The front edge of the slotted peice at the top was rough. It doesnt sit flat. Also the quality of the materials used does not reflect the price of the product.

"Very Dissapointing"

The Bamboo portions of this unit are nice, but that is about all I can say. The directions are almost non-existent and assembly is not easy for one person. The fabric covered section is very poor quality plywood, the screws are cheap and the heads strip out using the provided wrench. The tolerances for the sections are not tight enough, so there are visible gaps, I am attempting to return it as defective as it had obvious issues. Even if it had gone together properly, it is no worth even half the price.
