There are more expensive options out there. However, popular name-brand coated or treated string sets tarnish under my fingers after one gig. Not these strings! The brass-plated and coated treble strings stay bright sounding and bright looking for multiple gigs. Plus, these sound more crisp than other coated sets. Only complaint is that the low G is thicker than most 12-String sets, making it harder to play.
