At first, I was a bit underwhelmed with the subtlety of the 2 stage phaser, until I played with the settings a bit more. I was especially awakened to its genius in combining it with other effects, such as my reverb and my Earthquaker Sea Machine chorus....it adds a third dimension you won't want to live without.
It's not as schlocky as a 4 or 6 stage phaser and sounds nowhere near as exaggerated. For me this is a great thing, for you it may not be. If you are a fan of the MXR Phase 45 over the Phase 90, this is your pedal. It's solid, beautifully finished and put together, and sounds top notch.
