I have 7 with one running on 18V. There is NO noise, buzz, surges or static in the MXR. You don't know its even on. Best investment ever! Does its job and does it well all in a small package. I literally have this guy velcrod to the underside of my board its so light and tiny! If youre like me then your pedalboards are already heavy enough without adding a power source that weighs 5 pounds. if your looking to lighten your load without sacrificing the number of outlets or quality, look no further!

Cut the noise on my fender blues deluxe first channel makes thing quiet. Before it was very distracting to play the clean channel with pedals . Now what a difference this little power supply does. It a pleasure to play clean with pedals . It is very compact and easy to hook up . Win for Mxr and my guitar work.

Man, I really like this. I was really surprised when I opened it up how small it was. It fits in your palm.However, the first one that I got rattled and I wasn’t sure if I should return it, but I did and zzounds had a new one at my front door less than 24 hours I would say from the time I returned the other one to getting my replacement. This one rattles also like a baby rattle, but it works fine. I did not notify them this time because it works fine and now if I have another baby, I’ll have a toy for it to play with.
Sound
I always go for MXR because they’re solid construction and no unnecessary knobs or buttons. However, this BRICK could probably be built a little better, honestly being that it’s the second one back to back that rattles, probably did not come from the factory like that, but FedEx has their own issues.
Features
The most useful feature is how small it is. Second would be that it comes with every cord you need for 9 & 18v the thing that I liked, the least is the trend that this brand has with their blue bright lights. You have to put tape over everything and if you forget to shut it off at night, you won’t be able to sleep.
Ease of Use
But it does his job. It’s completely silent if there is a noise it’s probably somewhere else on your chain. It would be nice if it was a little bit cheaper or more affordable I should say and built to withstand a bad shipping company.
