First off, let me say that I was skeptical about trying another cable pedal after I bought the Gibraltar one and hated it. I echo many of the sentiments that many have shared about the performance of that one. I had high hopes for this one, and wanted to give it a try because I do love the freedom of pedal placement that a cable offers. I am glad I gave the Dixon pedal a chance! I LOVE IT! i have played numerous 3 hour gigs with this thing, and it has not let me down in the slightest! The action is quick, the construction is sturdy, and tweaking it to your personalization is a breeze. In addition, the beater has FAR exceeded my expectations sound wise. I mic my cajon with an SM57, and it THUMPS! Dixon has really done it. I HIGHLY recommend this pedal
