Sound
i play this pick-up on a strat it fits perfectly in the pickguard with no fuss. the wiring diagram included is a tad small so i downloaded the pdf from the internet which made seeing it much easier. I could have opted for a more complicated wiring set-up but just wanted to get it up and going. so I did the basic set up which was easy. With this pick up you can install a switch to split the coils. Might do that later. This pickup makes the guitar sound so Mark Knopfler it's amazing!! You will still be able to mix the pickups with your 5 position selector jus as before. Quiet as a humbucker? Oh yeah but no one is gonna know it's not a single coil unless you tell 'em
