Say what you want about Digitech... They've been in the game for a long time and it shows in their craftsmanship and sound. The range of sounds obtainable in this unit are really astounding. Anyone not considering buying this unit based on pure hearsay is doing themselves an injustice. It only took a few minutes experimenting with the iPB-10 to be overwhelmingly impressed. For those of you who believe that having the iPad as the visual interface is a bad idea, consider this. Once you have synched it to the iPB-10, it no longer needs to be "in" the unit. All of the sounds come from the iPB-10 itself. Also, having the iPad as an interface is absolutely beautiful and creatively easy to use. If you do not already have an iPad, buying one is something you should consider for many reasons aside from the iPB-10. It is an amazing product in itself.

The best and the closest to an analog stomp box! Sound is amazingly overwhelming. I could not believed what I'm hearing!! No mili-second delay whatsoever. Even the whammy and wah sounded so real! No annoying computerized or somehow robotic like sound effects. I have been a long time zoom fan and user. But now, I will never go back to my zoom G9.2tt after using this. it is just the best of the best!!! I used this with my JS 20th anniv. Ibanez and has never heard it screamed like this before!!! Thank You Digitech!!! Also, I use a 69 custom shop Fender Strat and wow!! The Eric Johnson or SRV sound and Hendrix are almost unbelievable!!!!

What else can you ask for? This is the most exciting part! Recording in GarageBand is amazing!!!! Plus you can jam with tracks from YouTube or other websites. Practice with Guitar Pro and other useful applications. You can even play Angry Birds while playing your guitar! LOL IpB Nexus app has a built in Help/Manual instead of a paper which you can misplace eventually which is also great! The ability to swap or switch the placement of the effects on the effects chain is the most greatest feature of the iPB-10, it acts and will sound like a real pedalboard!!! This thing is built like a Tank! Your iPad is safe and secured in the docking station or you can also buy an extension cable to have your iPad either on your lap or on the table and have the ipb-10 on the floor.
