I took a leap of faith and I am not disappointed. I have researched and played may 6 string banjos and was disappointed with their sound until the Deering Phoenix. I rarely buy something this expensive without playing it first. If want a guitar that plays like a guitar, but truly sounds like a banjo then you can't miss. This is the one.
