"Nifty little piece of equipment"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I have had it over ten years and must admit that I've never needed another tuner. This thing has never let me down and I paid aruond 8 dollars for it back in the day, it really was worth it. Would definately buy another one if it broke or got stolen.
Sound
Does not produce sound.
Features
Pretty basic. Has input and output jacks which is nice for tuning an electric guitar. Auto and manual modes. Switches off after ten seconds of non use which saves battery power.
Ease of Use
Very straightforward. Automatic mode allows you to tune any string. In manual mode you simply select the string you wish to tune. Displays if the string is in tune or if its under or over the correct frequency using an LCD needle.
Quality
Had mine since 1996, had no problems with it at all. Only replaced the battry twice in that time.
Value
Perhaps not as feature packed as other models, but for a simple and easy to use tuner I think this one is value for money.
Manufacturer Support
Never needed support.
The Wow Factor
Pocket size, you can take it anywhere. Light Weight. I like that I can leave it inline between my guitar and amplifier so I can check my guitar between songs.

"not bad for a cheap tuner"

Overall: 2.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This tuner was a gift. It's a basic tuner and works fine, if the needle jumps around your plucking the string to hard, at least on this one. I compared it's accuracy with my expensive tuners and it's on par.

Sound
It's a fairly good tuner, but the needle jumps around too much. If you are patient and don't mind the needle bounce its ok. I'm going to get a Korg and sell the quick tune. Anybody want to but it?
Ease of Use

Quality
Fairly rugged. I've dropped it a number of times and it keeps working.

QwikTune QT1 Tuner Customer Review

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
Features
It does have a 'thru' feature; you can plug your instrument into it and from it to your amp... I never do this.
Quality
Buggy as heck. I've seen a few of these things and all them them are lousy as attenuating frequencies. Meaning your playing a low E that is just a tad flat but the it goes from reading D# to F. Aggravating. owned it for seven years, and it got it's share of use, though not for the last five or so. It's now going belly up, hardly usable, mostly broke. It never took a fall. My Korg took many falls, on the other hand, and spent a winter lost underneath a six inch layer of snow. IT STILL WORKS!
Value
Cheap, but flawed.
The Wow Factor
I wish I'd paid another 10 bucks for a KORG.

"Save Your Money - Buy Something Else!"

Overall: 0.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I've already replaced this with one that works.
Sound
It is the quietest tuner I have ever seen.
Features
Confusing at best - not very responsive.
Ease of Use
Very hard of hearing, I mean what's so hard about reading the frequency of a note?
Quality
Vastly inferior to Korg or Sabine - I like both of those. They actually give a steady, solid reading compared to this piece of junk.
Value
Not much, I wouldn't recommend it.
Manufacturer Support
Still works like it always did after a year. The battery is still good because it gets so little use. Yes, you could say I am less than pleased with this tuner. I never had to deal with them, so I don't know.
The Wow Factor
Sex appeal? This is a piece of plastic, not a babe.
