Damage Control Timeline Customer Review
I haven't played a delay that's half as great as this one. Watch some youtube videos of it and decide if it's a sound you absolutely have to have. If you don't use delay much, you probably won't think it's worth $400. If you use delay a lot, then you'd be hard pressed to find a better sounding delay period.
Sound
I can't imagine life without my damage control timeline. It's really too bad they discontinued this pedal, it is a staple of my sound. It's especially amazing in stereo. I run mine with a midimate so I can store 100+ different delay sounds. Very responsive, very huge sounding, clarity is amazing.
Features
Tons and tons of features. After 2 years I'm still learning how to coax the best sounds out of it.
Ease of Use
It's not super easy to use like an MXR Carbon Copy (3 knobs), but it's not difficult to get a good sound out of it. Once you start saving, and using tap tempo and stuff, it can get a little trickier to use, but it's worth learning how to use it. When you consider all the features it has, I can't imagine a simpler way to use all them. That being said, your 8 year-old won't be able to figure it out.
Quality
I wonder why they discontinued these. Mine has been 100% reliable. It's big, heavy, and the switches feel awesome. I have no reasons to expect it to be less than 100% reliable.
Value
This is an expensive delay; but it's worth every penny in my book. If mine got lost/stolen I would pay double to have it back. most people wouldn't, since they don't rely on a huge delay sound. This is a pedal that i simply cannot live without, so I would do whatever I needed to to make sure I had one.

The Wow Factor
What a stupid rating. "Sex appeal" in a pedal? Give me a break. I don't care what it looks like, I care what it sounds like. yes, it's a huge pedal and it takes up a lot of room and has its own power supply. The glowing tubes are cool, and the LED's actually help me know what's going on inside. This category is a joke.
