As someone who has adopted a direct setup using a modeler plus external pedals, I found myself constantly having to set up every Sunday morning plugging in, taping down to the stage, etc. I had purchased a nice flight case but couldn't find a board that would use the entire jnterior width (which I needed due to the size of my setup). I ran across the XPND2 and researched it quite a bit before I purchased from zZounds. Got it last night, poured a glass of Bulleit and got to work. I can confidently say that this board checks every single box for me. At first I was concerned about tolerances and stiffness because of the fact that this is an expandable board. It's obvious that D'Addario engineered this system extremely well. Stiff, balanced and solid. The hook and loop is super high quality, the cable organizers are perfect and everything stays put. If you're on the fence about an expandable board, don't be. This board is absolutely pro level. Now I want the smaller version for my 2nd rig. Note, I had contacted the company with a question and got a response the same day. Super impressed.
