I am a mobile DJ, prior to getting my set of CVA28 's I was toting around 2 Behringer B115D and a pair of Peavey PV215D Mid way threw my first show I turned off everything but my CVA28s and my single CVA18 The sound was incredible. These things are amazing. I have sense sold everything but my Cerwin Vega speakers. These little thinga are a bit heavy, but I am now able to load everything into the back of my grand cherokee. I have not looked back.

After being a mobile dj for more than 10 years I got tired of hauling larger and heavier speakers.So I decided to change my set up to a smaller but powerful speakers and so far I've been happy with them since I no longer experience any back pain. Seriously this compact loudspeakers put out tremendous sound! Cerwin Vega all the way!

These are heavy speakers but, they have a very balanced sound in a compact package. while they don't spec out in the power of some of the typical QSC, Yamaha Etc...brands they do put out some very usable levels. More than most of gigging musicians will need. Unless you are getting into touring sound. I have a duo and these are all I need to get a great sound. i have a pair of dsr112's I really do love but, I like the sound over all of these to the Yamahas. They will get way louder and with much more highs then these. I bought another pair with the 2 bar stand adapter for outside gigs and larger rooms. I use a small sub with just 2 of these in most rooms with no issues. It sounds great. 4 for outside gigs and my QSC181. Great solid sound. BTW, to my ears That's what I hear solid clear sound with no hollowness that I've heard hints of from the plasticy compitition. Anyone that questions this must know that, I've owned QSC k8' Yamaha dsx10, some Ev plastic can't remember the model, the Mackies first version of there 450's. so, I've heard the difference between wood and plastic. I prefer wood. Granted it's heaver but once again,it sounds solid. I highly recommend these. With my only complaint's being no covers made for them? You can use the k10 covers or go to eAay and have covers made. The other is the covering chips and dings easy. Mostly the corners. Hope the do something for that for future buyers. i'd give a ten but with those issues give it a bit lower.

This Cerwin Vega dual 8" does all the damage you'll need. It performs like dual 15''s. I am very, very impressed. The 3-way sound gives you exactly what you need. Just mess with the gain and the few switches on back and you should experience greatness within a few minutes. Seriously. I am buying another one sometime soon from zzounds for sure!!

I was a little Worried about how these speakers would sound by themselves and With my EV's. Well they did not disappoint! I Use these With a 21" Stroker Sub and It is So Powerful,Clear, Load, and Punchy!!! Very Pleased With them!
