"Modularity Achieved"
I have had this for almost a year now, and it just keeps giving. First, I have several midi controllers, and that is cool, but this thing is a whole different level. First, built in arpeggiator, MIDi, 4 CV and gate audio interface, 2 mults, everything and then.... wait for it.... a full 112hp modular rack. Just look at the list of like a million features, and it even has AFTERTOUCH for under $600... and it plays so well.... amazing!

I really wanted to love this controller. First of all, the PSU rating (+12V/1500mA, -12V/1000mA, +5V/1000mA) is not accurate. You do not have a full +12V/1500mA, -12V/1000mA, +5V/1000mA available for the provided 112hp worth of space. A large portion of the PSU goes to powering the keybed/mainboard functions inside the nifty keys. You also can NOT use a more powerful power block to resolve this, as the mainboard does not pass the additional power through to the modules. (Grrr…) I was not able to power 9 basic modules that pulled a total of +12v/700ma, -12v/280ma. Only when I removed one smaller module could the remaining modules be powered up. This nullified my Modular grid design that I purchased the unit for. Keep this in mind! Do not plan on powering a full 112 hp of space based on the provided specs. I tried reaching out to Cre8audio via their ticketing system, no response. Crickets for the last week… This all said, the keys are fair and the unit looks nice. Make sure to set the unit back to factory defaults efore using, as mine was all out of wack at first leaving me to think it was defective. A quick reset allowed everything to work albeit without one of my modules functioning. I want to thank the zZounds for providing me with excellent support on this. They did their best to help me. It was ultimately through the use of a multimeter that provided the information I needed. (Advised by zZounds) Crea8audio was of no help whatsoever. I’m curious if anyone has actually gotten through to them. Or gotten a response via e-mail.
