For $600 I didn't expect the greatest classical guitar, but I expected it would probably be playable right out of the box. It's wasn't. 1) The nut was seated WAY too low, and the high e string was unplayable at fret 1 and two, so I had to remove the nut and put a shim underneath. 2) The fret edges were nearly completely unfinished, I had to file them down, because they were SHARP ENOUGH TO CUT YOURSELF ON. Ridiculous. 3) After owning it for on week, I had to reattach the endpin jack because it had come completely loose, without me ever having put a strap on it. 4) I played a gig with it last night, and today I am going to have to take apart the bridge because the pickup is poorly installed and as a result the d and g string are WAY louder than the rest. The amount of work I am investing to make this thing playable is ridiculous. I have owned Codoba guitars in the past, and am very dissappointed in the quality of this particular instrument. It's hard for me to believe it even came out of the same company that made some of the guitars I most loved.
