I purchased this little guy to learn bass on because my electric is too heavy. It has far exceeded my expectations with a super light feel and deep tones. The acoustic is loud but has a smooth sound without ringing strings. Plugged in with pedals it fills the low ends as if it was a true, full size bass. Don't let the size or price fool you. The Cordoba Mini II is a quality instrument. One complaint is the frets are a little sharp but that was an easy fix.
