This is the only Over-Drive I will ever need I have been playing since the late 1960's in Bands Live for 25 yrs and this IS THE BEST I HAVE found from Blues to Hard rock I don't do medal so can't help you there I would replace it If it were lost or stold
Sound
This is The best over drive pedal I have owned in the 35 years I have been playing Guitar. The boost alone adds a touch of clear clean boost to sweeten up your sound up to 20 db. Then hit the drive and the fun starts . And for more over drive hit the selectbutton . I set the drive on 8-9 oclock and the high gain on 10 ocolck and i get the best Allman Brothers sound ever leave the drive on 8-9 then boost the High gain to noon and up and look out the Plexi sound that is just the greatist ever ac/dc- Nugent-all the awy to EVH. were ever you want to take it . I love that it plugs in to a outlet . If you are looking for the PLEUXI sound on a buget this is it NO KIDDING
Features
every knob on this effect really does something. the tone is very nice from bass to treb. I run it in my fender hot rod deluxe or my fender mustang v works on both amps Just fine. My son has a blues jr- the drive button MUST be off or you get a tube rattle.
Ease of Use
plug in set the drive and go easy
Quality
Built like a Tank
Value
well worth the $ 250 dollars a lot cheaper then the Amp and sounds Just as great.

I really never had any idea that a pedal could sound so good! I run this through a Peavey Classic 50 tube amp and the sound is awesome. Smooth rich overdrive on the crunch channel and tons of satchuration on the lead channel. The pedal is FAT! Wonderful british tones and truly lives up to its name. While of course it's not identical to a real plexi, I would bet money that 95% of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I usually use the crunch channel because it already has tons of gain. But sometimes you need to open it up and the lead channel does just that! The boost feature is fantastic in a live situation and is adjustable as to how much volume you need! From bluesy break up to thick ZZ Top chunk to singing modded Marshall type tone, I HIGHLY recommend this pedal! I hate calling it a "pedal"as it is sooo much more!! THANK YOU ZZOUNDS FOR YOUR PAYMENT PLANS AND HELPING MUSICIANS TO CONTINUE MAKING MUSIC!!

What can I say? I bought this pedal to replace my broken Dr. Swamp dual overdrive. Had I known how good this one sounded, I would have never looked elsewhere. I play this into a cleaned up Vox AC30 with my Gibson Les Paul and the tone is absolutely to die for. The crunch I have set to do blues/country rock grit. The high gain channel I crank to around 90% for that hard rock/metal tone. Hit the boost switch and either channel is boosted with volume to cut through a mix for solos. As a guitarist who's played for over two decades, I wish I would have had this in my arsenal sooner. Extremely happy with this purchase.

I wish I had this 40 years ago. I probably would be playing at the crossroads festival. Incredible sound with variable distortion settings. I play a Gibson SG standard through a Marshall DSL. This just adds to the beauty of the overall classic rock sound. I love it!
